While the heroic, exciting and often risky active-rescue stories are part of Peaceful Acres Horses' mission in years past, providing long-term care for the rescued horses, minis, mules and donkeys is a huge part of our mission now. When we said "yes" to being their rescuers, that meant that for the many equines who for a variety of reasons, are not a good fit for adoption, Peaceful Acres is their forever home. We provide a safe equine welfare sanctuary for them and share their companionship and unique abilities to help with the people that love, support and participate in programs here at Peaceful Acres.
